A federally funded family involvement program for low-income families with young children. Head Start serves 6 weeks old to Pre-K, in both full-day and half-day classrooms. Their Family Service Coordinators and room teachers work with families on goals in development, as well as in assisting with the rest of life that happens for the parents. This program is through Community Colleges of Spokane.

A multi-faceted social service agency including programs for WIC supplemental nutrition program, Head Start (toddlers and preschool age children in full-day/full-year classrooms or pre schoolers in double session), Before/After school and Summer child care programs for ages 5-12, recreation programs, supportive services programs (Learning Skills Center and Community Inclusion), public computer lab & faxing and printing services, and seasonal special events free and open to the community.
