Provides volunteers to assist seniors and those with disabilities in their homes by helping with chores that they are not capable of doing themselves. Some examples are: transportation, yard work, snow shoveling, delivery, etc.
Providing organization
New Hope Resource Center
Provides information, referral services, case management, and emergency assistance for utilities, rent assistance, hygiene, clothing, household items, and prescriptions. Also provides chore services and transportation for the elderly and disabled. Must live in the service area; must be low-income or in need of emergency assistance. Service area is from the north side of Hawthorne Road as far north as the Spokane County line (Mead, Colbert, Chattaroy, Riverside Community, and Elk), but not Deer Park as they have their own services.
