Goodwill does not charge individuals for the cost of training, and provides full scholarships for all students.

Designed for those who are new to using computers or need a refresher to gain skills necessary to find a job, take online training courses, or work towards a promotion. In this class, participants will learn:
  • Internet basics
  • Internet navigation tips
  • Using email
  • Using Microsoft Windows 10
  • Introduction to Microsoft Word
  • Information literacy
  • Typing skills
Two-week course meets in-person on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1pm - 4pm. Class is offered monthly at Goodwill Work Opportunity Centers in Tacoma & Longview, and is expanding to Union Gap & Lacey campuses. Even with no experience, people can learn job-ready computer skills now through Goodwill’s Basic Digital Skills course. This class provides accommodations for students with disabilities.
