Eligibility
To be considered medically at risk, an applicant must be able to provide documentation from a physician stating that the applicant cannot receive essential medical treatment due to their dental condition.
Cannot have dental insurance that covers needed services.
Applicants must also
- Need major dental work
- Be unable to pay for needed dental care
- First, exhaust all available options like community clinics or dental schools.
- Permanently disabled
- Over age 65
- Medically fragile
