Eligibility
Must be 55 years of age or better and qualify based on income.
Senior Companions must be able to:
- Develop a supportive person-to-person relationship with adults with disabilities, in particular older adults,
- Be in good physical health,
- Pass a criminal history check, and
- Commit to serving a minimum of 15 hours per week with 2 to 6 clients.

- socialization,
- assistance with correspondences,
- escorts to medical visits and essential shopping,
- information and advocacy,
- as well as respite support for caregivers.
