Enforces the Gig Harbor Municipal Code by:

Receiving and investigating reported complaints related to zoning and land use violations
Addressing property maintenance issues and public nuisances
Responding to concerns regarding unpermitted construction, development, and illegal land use
Enforcing sign code regulations
Promoting public health, safety, and neighborhood livability through education and voluntary compliance
Taking enforcement action when necessary to achieve compliance
Providing information and referrals to appropriate agencies or departments for issues outside the scope of code compliance

Services are provided to residents and property owners within Gig Harbor city limits. Issues outside city limits are referred to Pierce County Code Enforcement. Emergency or immediate life-safety concerns should be reported to 911.
