Metro Animal Services offered by City of Algona

Eligibility
Metro Animal Services pet licenses are required for all dogs and cats 8 weeks of age or older. Metro Animal Services serves the pets and people of Puyallup, Sumner, Algona, Bonney Lake, Edgewood, Milton and Pacific. Adults ages 65 and older are eligible for senior discount.  Owners who have statement of disability and statement that animal is a service animal are eligible for the service animal license.
Hours
M-F, 8am-5pm. 24 hours daily.
Application process
Fill out application online, or complete an application at City Hall.   Visit website for all locations and schedules.
Fees
Unaltered dog/cat: $60. Altered dog/cat: $20/$12.   Seniors with proof that pet has been altered, $10/dog, $6/cat annually.   Licensing fee is waived for service animals.
