Eligibility
Serves kinship families in Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Skamania, Klickitat and Clark counties. Kinship families are formed when grandparents or other relatives care for children whose own parents are unable to care for them. The arrangement can be informal and private; in other situations, the local child welfare agency is involved.

Helps pay for the cost of emergent needs incurred by kinship caregivers at the time a child(ren) comes to live with them as well as after the initial period. Examples of what funds may be used toward include but are not necessarily limited to rent, utilities, clothes, bedding, school supplies, food, and sports and youth activity costs for child.
