Focus Population

Provide veterans who are homeless and at risk of homelessness with one-stop access to community-based, multiagency services to promote permanent housing, health and mental health care, career development and access to VA and non-VA benefits. Assists veterans with registering with the VA and receiving a copy of their DD-214 if they are not already registered.

Helps eligible veterans and their families obtain benefits. Offers assistance with home loans, education and training programs, employment assistance, guardianship and fiduciary services. Direct home loans are available for eligible Native American veterans. Operates a smoking cessation helpline to help veterans quit smoking.
