Planning and Development offered at Snohomish County

Inspects permitted projects for compliance with the approved plans, permit conditions and construction standards.  Also, issues permits (for incorporated areas of Snohomish County) which authorize cutting and filling, excavation, earth importation and other techniques, to create a level building pad for construction purposes, as specified in an approved grading plan which has been found to comply with the state environmental act and the county policy code.
