READY! for Kindergarten offered at White River School District

Offers a series of free classes that help families prepare their children for Kindergarten. Parents or caregivers are encouraged to attend all the classes in the series. Parents learn new skills and helpful tips to nurture development in ways that foster academic skills and personal behaviors to boost children's motivation, perseverance and engagement in learning. Program facilitates interactions and active learning by using movement, play, exploration, communication and all of a child's senses - seeing, hearing, smelling, touching and tasting. One series targets households with 4 or 5 year olds, and the other is for households with 2 to 3 year olds.
