Provides police services to residents of Auburn. Provides the following crime prevention programs:
- Operation Identification: Loans an electric engraver to residents to mark valuable property.
- Neighborhood Watch: Operates a program in which residents are organized and instructed in home security.
- Safety Education Programs: Child safety programs are designed for grades K-6 on bicycle safety, school bus safety, seat belts, etc.
- Personal Safety Education: Provides information on rape prevention and advice for older adults.
- House Checks: Provides regular house checks for residents going out of town; program is limited to two weeks.
- Business Program: Presents a program on loss prevention and armed robbery.
