Coordinates emergency shelter for families with children as well as people who are pregnant, at multiple locations across King County. HRC tools include: rent assistance, security and utility deposits, background screening fees and other direct housing costs; referrals to site-based housing, housing voucher and other programs; linkages to life skills, financial literacy, and/or employability training and career-building services; plus referrals to partner entities.

Provides telephone and in-person screening and assessment for households who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Telephone screenings are provided for emergency shelter (men's, women's, couples, and families) and severe weather shelter. Households are assessed for eligibility for housing programs (rapid re-housing, transitional, and permanent supportive), as well as diversion programs.
