The HUD-VASH program is a collaborative effort between the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S Department of Veteran Affairs Supported Housing program to help homeless veterans and their immediate families to find and maintain affordable, safe, and permanent housing in the community.

Provides telephone and in-person screening and assessment for households who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Telephone screenings are provided for emergency shelter (men's, women's, couples, and families) and severe weather shelter. Provides wraparound services to people living with mental illness. Works with clients or to maintain stability in the community and meet recovery goals. Teams consist of nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists, vocational counselors, peer support staff and SUD counselors who meet frequently with clients to provide treatment and support in the safety and comfort of their homes or in the community. Connects clients to educational opportunities where they can finish their GED or go back to college. Also provides employment support to help them find full- or part-time work. Offers individual therapy, case management, SUD services, medication management, and therapeutic groups.

This village is exclusively for veterans in Mason County.
