CareLearn Washington has been designed to provide caregivers free online learning opportunities. It serves as an additional resource for caregivers who need to earn continuing education credits. CareLearn increases access to training and can reduce the amount of time caregivers need to be away from the people they care for. The specific online caregiver trainings and DSHS Approved Continuing Education trainings are for unpaid caregivers or paid long-term care workers in Washington State who are working for an Adult Family Home, Assisted Living Facility, Enhanced Service Facility, Home Care Agency, DDA Residential Facility or Home not affiliated with SEIU.

Supports families caring for a family member with Alzheimer's/dementia by providing information and assistance, consultation and referral service.

Offers evidence-based caregiver education in short snippets designed to build caregiver confidence and empower caregivers to continue providing care for the loved one safely at home. Topics available include: - Emergency preparedness - Stroke recovery - Dementia and brain health - Intellectual and developmental disabilities - Communication - Caregiver wellness. Also offers virtual webinars and support groups for caregivers. Registration is required. Contracts with Washington state Community Living Connections and DSHS to provide service.

Classes, workshops, and conferences are offered multiple times throughout the year for any unpaid caregivers who are caring for a family member or friend. Classes and events include Powerful Tool for Caregivers, Caring for Your Loved One at Home, and caregiver workshops. Respite may be available with early registration.

The Caregiver Support Center offers an opportunity for unpaid caregivers, helping an adult in Kitsap County, to meet with a case manager, check out books from a lending library, and obtain brochures, tip sheets, and resource lists at no cost. Unpaid caregivers may also inquire about scholarship eligibility for caregiver training, education, or workshop opportunities.

Offers education programs to help people understand what to expect with and how to prepare for Alzheimer's and other dementias. Courses are offered online and in-person in local communities.

Facilitates an online eldercare community for women supporting aging parents. Women gain access to numerous resources, from connecting with other women to educational learning curriculum, to subject matter experts to an online community forum to ask questions and engage in peer-to-peer learning and support.
