Nurse Family Partnership is a free evidence-based community health program that provides home visits to first time parenting moms and their families throughout pregnancy and until the child is two years of age. Nurses work to support families in several different domains: nurse home visitors teach about the mother’s personal health and environmental health, nurses guide new mothers in developing healthy and successful parenting skills while promoting social, emotional, and physical development, nurses mentor clients in establishing and meeting their school and career goals, nurses support clients in building a healthy support network, and nurses make referrals as needed to community agencies.

Facilitates one-on-one meetings with a parenting mentor, who can help clients set up a class schedule and meet for individual parenting training sessions and encouragement. Separate mentoring available for mothers and fathers. Classes meet court requirements. Topics include: -  Nurturing relationships. -  Safe places -  Healthy start -  Effective education Clients enrolled and participating in the parenting program may be eligible for additional support. Participants earn "Care Net Cash" which they can use to shop in the baby boutique, which has items like diapers, formula, clothing and baby furniture including car seats and cribs. Limited one-time assistance provided for non-participants.

Offers Head Start, Early Head Start, parenting skills education, ECEAP, parent involvement, Rural Home Visiting, Perinatal Mental Health, and Imagination Library. Offers home visiting and home visits for the children in the Early Head Start and Rural Home Visiting programs. Provides infants, toddlers, preschool children, and parents with a comprehensive program to meet their emotional, social, health, nutritional, and educational needs. Offers the following: -  Preschool education geared to children's developmental needs -  Health, nutrition and family support services -  Literacy, leadership and employment training opportunities for parents -  Services to support homeless children and families

This four hour seminar will focus on children’s needs during their parent’s separation, custody issues and/or divorce. Parents will learn about the developmental stages of children, communication skills, the impact of divorce on children and positive parenting skills. This seminar is approved by the Kitsap County Superior Court and intended for parents involved in divorce, legal separation, or paternity actions. Upon completion, you will be given a Certificate of Completion to be filed with the Court.

Offers a wide variety of health education classes, workshops and support groups, including the following: -  Childbirth preparation classes -  New parent classes -  Smoking cessation classes -  Senior health classes -  CPR classes -  Support groups for people with specific chronic conditions.

Provides a parenting skills program for first time parents. While attending classes, parents earn points that can be redeemed for needed baby items after they graduate.

Offers the Parent-Child Plus Program, which is a home visiting literacy program for children, age 2, and their parents.

Offers three series of 5 classes to help guide parents of teens. Class topics focus on some of the larger concerns parents have about their developing teen.

A faith-based organization that provides free information and referrals to those experiencing unplanned pregnancies. Services include pregnancy testing, pro-life counseling, parenting support, and community referrals. Does not recommend or refer to abortion services.

Provides information, training, consultation, and program development on the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Approach for individuals, families, and community partners (including educators, mental health clinicians, social services, and justice treatment providers) who live or work with individuals with brain-based differences like FASD, ADHD, dementia, autism, etc. The FASCETS Neurobehavioral Approach links brain with behaviors, leading to supports that make a difference for all people with brain-based differences. Services are provided in-person and online.

Bi-lingual, bi-cultural staff provide support and information for Spanish speaking families in times of crisis. Offers relationship and parenting skills classes in Spanish.

Organizes parenting programs on parent effectiveness, drug education, child abuse, and reading assistance.   Contact each school building for more information.

The Everett Clinic offers a wide variety of classes. Curriculums change month to month. Classes frequently offered include TEC Weight Loss for Life; Your Life, Your Wishes; Conquering Anxiety; Coping with Stress; Living with Chronic Conditions; Newborn Basics, and more.

Offers resources for parents of children with disabilities. Includes Father's Network, for fathers of children with disabilities; and SibShops, for siblings of children with disabilities. Provides a series of culturally relevant parent education classes and individual counseling sessions with parents who are experiencing parenting challenges. Classes are available to the general public and focus on child development, stress and anger management, nutrition, health and safety, communication, self-esteem and behavior.

Offers community based parenting instruction based on best practices and the needs of the family.

Offers parenting classes that focus on helping children learn from their mistakes and experience the natural consequences of their choices.

Alexandria’s House is a transitional living facility for pregnant and parenting teenagers and their babies. The home has five furnished bedrooms, three bathrooms as well as shared kitchen, living and laundry facilities. Alexandria’s House offers comprehensive case management and 24-hour staff supervision and is licensed by the state of Washington.

Offers several in-person 5-week parenting class series per year, as well as other parenting workshops. Classes may meet court requirements and FamilyWorks will put clients in touch with the facilitator.

Classes cover topics such as baby care and safety, senior health, childbirth preparation, first aid, CPR, disease management, diabetes education, emergency and safety education, and neurological and movement disorders.

Offers an extended parent education program, including: -  12-week parenting and 12-week anger management Classes -  Parent coaching   -  Mediation -  Family dispute reconciliation - Extended parenting classes are 24 weeks; classes meet court requirements. Offers supervised visitation.  Offers a comprehensive 12-week online course that includes weekly interaction on ZOOM with a parent group, as well as an individual parent coach. Online course provides security, privacy, flexibility and accountability.

Provides training and other programs, such as Anger Management, Theft Awareness, and the Sharing the Children Parenting seminar.

Offers pregnancy testing, ultrasound (for viability), peer counseling, and parenting services. Also has diapers, baby formula, and clothes. Doesn't provide or refer for abortions. All services confidential.

An online resource designed to help individuals navigate the emotional challenges of divorce. Learn self-care strategies and practical skills for maintaining positive relationships with children and co-parents. Engaging videos and additional resources provide support throughout the process.

A unique, flexible, convenient resource that will help dads to become the best dads they can be. Fathering in 15 contains 15 topics focused on increasing a dad’s awareness and knowledge about what it takes to be a good dad, and the capacity, or skills, to carry out what he learns, building a dad’s self-worth and building a good man and a good dad.
