Offers volunteer opportunities in various areas including shelter ministries (Bible studies with clients, tutoring, grading study materials, hair cutting, chapel participation, and driving men and women to essential appointments), administration (newsletter, special mailings, and events), meals (preparation and serving food, cooking, setting up dining room, washing dishes, cleaning up dining area after meals), miscellaneous (appointment schedulers for clinic, maintenance, sewing, Christmas gifts, and construction), warehouse (recycling, driving, testing and repair of major appliances and furniture).  Accepts electronic donations such as: computers, towers, laptops, monitors, and televisions. Digital literacy and employability skills are incorporated into instruction. We offer in-person, hybrid in-person and distance, and some distance options. We serve out of school youth age 16yrs and older. If you are under 19, you must have a signed release from the HS or district where you live. We work to provide individualized study plans along with small group experiences in order for students to get a full range of support and encouragement to be on the path to their education, work, and life goals.

4-H is a positive youth development program, led by caring adult volunteers, that focuses on the development of life-skills in youth 5-19 years of age through a variety of projects.  4-H learning experiences are designed to help youth "do, reflect and apply" the lesson to life situations.  4-H members build self-confidence, make responsible decisions, give back to their community, discover the value of teamwork and expand their communication skills through self-chosen projects in which they have high interest.  4-H engages youth in life skill development in order to help youth become productive, caring, capable citizens who are prepared to transition into adulthood.
