Most behavioral health conditions can be treated on an outpatient basis with a coordinated care team and a personalized approach that can include individual and/or group therapy. Programs include: Solution Focused Brief Therapy - Future-focused and goal-directed therapy with an emphasis on finding solutions Assertive Community Treatment - Offering rehabilitation and support services to adults experiencing severe and persistent psychosis through two models of care: Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) and Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) New Journeys - Early intervention for first-episode psychosis for people up to age 40 Inclusive Community Care - Culturally competent care for Latinos, Mexicans and Chicanos, plus all immigrant and refugee populations Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid and Alcohol Addiction - Evidence-based substance used treatment program shown to sustain recovery and prevent overdoses; combines medication, counseling and support Pathways - Holistic substance abuse treatment program for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders Additional adult client services include on-site primary healthcare, dental and pharmacy; supportive housing and employment services.

Provides intensive, short-term (3-5 months) home, school, and community-based services to adolescents and their families who are experiencing family conflicts, troubles in school, contact with juvenile justice system, mental health issues, anti-social behavior, and/or are or have been involved with Child Welfare. Designed to build improved positive relationships, improved school functioning, and decrease negative behavior and involvement with the legal system. Provides the client and family services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, when and where those services are needed. Program may involve family therapy, marital therapy, individual treatment, case management, crisis stabilization, psychiatric medication, evaluations of the youth's peer network, consultation with schools and other service providers, and liaison activities with the schools, courts, and mental health providers. Agency provides state-certified service(s).

Offers both family and individual therapy for children and families. Helps children and families use their strengths to build resiliency and develop the skills needed for recovery. Wrap Around with Intensive Services (WISe): Provides comprehensive behavioral health services and supports for Medicaid eligible children, adolescents, and transition-aged youth with complex behavioral health needs, and their families. Program uses natural supports (such as family, friends, and religious leaders) and the professionals involved with the family in treatment so that youth can continue to live in their homes and communities.

Provides a comprehensive outpatient mental health program. Case managers, psychiatrists and nurses work with single adults, most of whom are or have been homeless, in assisting them in their journey towards recovery. This includes help with obtaining and maintaining housing, improving clinical and social stability and enriching their level of independence and self-sufficiency. Services are provided in DESC offices, at client homes and elsewhere in the county such as shelters, hospitals, jails and wherever else clients’ lives take them. Offers an adult only mental health facility that provides multiple services which include individual, family and group therapy, case management, Peer Support delivered by Certified Peer Counselors and Therapeutic Psychoeducation. Crisis support is provided by Therapists and Case Managers during business hours. Medication Management and Medication Monitoring services will be referred to the Lakewood office. This clinic serves all populations with accommodations needed to make the service accessible and meaningful through Mental Health Specialists and interpreters to promote recovery. Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).
